Otaku Lifestyle
Beyond the Animanga!
Otaku Lifestyle is the way to look beyond the casual industry with the watching of a series, the cool sounds of Anison music of the soundtracks and collections, the taste of the dipped biscuit sticks and omurice. Most people who don't identify as anime or manga as apart of their identity first experience Otaku culture at a convention or in a group when visiting as a guest. Many people who enjoy animanga greet other fans with a hello of whatever language is their first and sometimes use Japanese, so in the morning for example someone may say "Ohayōgozaimasu", especially if they are interested in Japan.
Finding Your Community in Otaku Culture Identity is a tricky thing and hobbies are definitely apart of it when deciding what kind of mindset and lessons a person has and Animanga is no different. - Either partially-invested or fully-invested in Otaku culture or just curious about it and want to know about it. Maybe its being apart of the fandom that engages in the culture and has a artistic beauty about it and a connection, but want to be knowledgeable, and respectful as a newcomer to integrate seamlessly into the animanga community. Where to begin? When asking many topics will be seen over and over again, but one thing that remains open is the universe that each story resides in and many people spend their time celebrating it with discussion and creation. It begins to illustrates the wealth of creative activities that provide an entry point into the cultural appreciation, building relationships, and sharing ideas amongst others.
Most of the animanga cosplayers and their attendants come from local otaku enjoying families and proudly share their interests as well as hobby-heritage with visitors and the local community at events and clubs throughout the year.
